Visiting A Patient

All Intensive Care Units (ICUs) areas are restricted areas. Visitors are requested to adhere to protocol and wear isolation gown, mask, gloves, shoe covers and use hand sanitiser available at the hospital before and after entering these areas.

Guidelines At A Glance

Visitors are not allowed unless they the carry an Attender Pass or Food Pass. One Attender Pass and one Food Pass will be issued at the time of admission. This must be returned to the Ward Staff at the time of discharge.

General Ward
Morning : 08:00 AM to 09:00 AM
Afternoon : 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM
Evening : 06:00 PM to 07:00 PM

ICU Ward
Morning : 08:00 AM to 09:00 AM
Evening : 06:00 PM to 07:00 PM

Visitor Entrances

  • Children (as visitors) under the age of 12 years are not allowed on In-patient areas. This is for the protection of the children themselves, since they are more vulnerable to infection than adults.
  • Encourage your visitors to adhere to the visitor’s timings. Please do not insist on extra passes.
  • Moderation of visitors is essential for the patient’s benefit and helps in controlling infection.
  • For security reasons all baggage will be screened and we request your kind co-operation. Also, our hospital is under CCTV surveillance for your security.
  • Only one attendant per patient is allowed in the hospital for night stay.

On the Day of Your Visit

  • The attendant should gather all necessary documents, medications, and personal essentials before visiting the hospital.
  • Checking hospital visiting hours and protocols ensures a smooth and hassle-free visit.
  • The attendant should follow hospital entry protocols, including security checks and visitor registration.
  • Sanitizing hands and wearing a mask (if required) helps maintain hygiene and safety within the hospital premises.
  • The attendant should follow hospital rules, maintain a quiet environment, and respect patient privacy.
  • Assisting the patient with essential needs while coordinating with hospital staff ensures a smooth and supportive visit.
  • The attendant should ensure the patient is comfortable before leaving and confirm any follow-up instructions with the medical staff.
  • Collecting personal belongings and sanitizing hands before exiting helps maintain hygiene and preparedness for the next visit.
