This basic screening panel is designed to provide a comprehensive assessment of general health, focusing on blood composition, glucose levels, kidney and liver function, and urinary health. Tests such as Complete Blood Count (CBC) and Random Blood Sugar offer insights into overall wellness and metabolic status, while Blood Urea, Serum Creatinine, and Urine Routine evaluate kidney function. Bilirubin (Total & Direct) assesses liver health, and the Physician Consultation ensures that results are thoroughly reviewed, with personalized recommendations for maintaining or improving health. This panel is ideal for early detection of common conditions like anemia, diabetes, or organ dysfunction.
This test measures various components of blood, including red blood cells, white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets. It serves as a broad screening tool to assess overall health and detect conditions such as anemia, infections, and hematological disorders.
This test measures blood glucose levels at any time, regardless of fasting. Normal levels are typically below 140 mg/dL; higher values may indicate diabetes or prediabetes, prompting further evaluation for metabolic issues.
Blood Urea measures urea nitrogen levels, a waste product filtered by the kidneys. Normal ranges are approximately 7-20 mg/dL; elevated levels may suggest kidney dysfunction, dehydration, or high protein intake.
Serum Creatinine assesses creatinine levels in the blood, another indicator of kidney function. Normal ranges are about 0.6-1.2 mg/dL for adults; elevated levels may signal kidney impairment or dehydration.
Urine Routine analyzes physical (color, clarity), chemical (pH, glucose, protein), and microscopic (cells, bacteria) properties of urine. Abnormalities can indicate urinary tract infections, kidney disease, or diabetes.
This test measures total and direct (conjugated) bilirubin levels, which reflect liver function. Normal total bilirubin is 0.1-1.2 mg/dL; elevated levels may indicate liver disease, bile duct obstruction, or hemolysis.
A physician consultation involves a medical evaluation to interpret test results, discuss health concerns, and recommend lifestyle changes or treatments based on findings.
These tests, including blood analyses, organ function assessments, and imaging studies, provide a comprehensive evaluation of your health. They help detect conditions like diabetes, heart disease, or infections early, enabling timely intervention and better health management.
Preparation varies by test. For fasting tests like Fasting Blood Sugar or Lipid Profile, avoid food and beverages (except water) for 8-12 hours. Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding medications and inform them of any health conditions. No special preparation is needed for non-fasting tests like ECG or Chest X-Ray.
Most tests, such as blood draws, urine tests, ECG, and Echocardiogram, are non-invasive or minimally invasive and generally painless, though you may feel a brief pinch during blood collection. The Chest X-Ray involves low radiation exposure, considered safe for most individuals.
The tests can typically be completed in a few hours, depending on the facility. Blood and urine test results are often available within 1-2 days, while imaging results (e.g., Chest X-Ray, Echocardiogram) may take a bit longer. Your physician will discuss results during the consultation, usually scheduled soon after.
